Hi Gang

We just returned from Fl after 2700 miles in the state. We liked Gulf Blvd from treasure Island Seminole north to Tarpon Springs, many bridges and south to Sunshine bridge over to Bradenton, Anna Marie Island if traffic allows. Desoto park past the south end of treasure island is Huge for walking, beaches, and fishing pier.Lots of parking, no crowds.

The evening rides along beach area's were great like being on a boardwalk hearing people birds and music. We googled parks along the coast and found some to be awesome for biking bicycling walking and animals. Some Inland roads we did were Lk Okeechobee and wherever the dragon headed. I didn't know there re so many farms and quiet roads inland. We like the Wing trike having no experience on either. The only downer is so many lowd bikes. Why do we have to hear every time a guy leaves the house a mile away ?

Maybe we should call them at 3AM, We're home now !!

Some day.."Noise Proportionate to HP" not attitude

Happy Day

Beautiful looking ride you got there Lew. Fort Desoto park is one of the jewels of our area, glad you enjoyed your stay, if you get this way next year give a holler, we're in Tarpon Springs.

Maybe next time you will catch one of the great roads. US 1 from Florida City to Key West. It makes most best ride lists. The road is pretty much straight but the scenery is fantastic. Been here since 1980 and still love the view.

Gorilla, Took US 1 and A1A last year and loved every mile of it. Went all the way to Key West and if it were up to me I would have stayed there. Flordia is a great state to ride in and everyone should plan a ride (maybe not mid summer).

couple more

With all thes lights on at night we had 2 drive against us front sideways but the trike brakes fast. Be safe friends. Where's that Horn when the bike is new to me?

Kite day at treasure Island, Johns Pass at Seminol. Happy Day

them there places are off limits for this boy. No way I'm going near the east coast without being paid. Some say the coast road is nice. To many cages and no place to go for this boy.

Traveling to vero then to delray and then to key largo-- any good spots on the way down--leaving early april from delaware

It really depends on how much time you have and how much traffic you are willing to put up with. When you hit the Florida Line around Jacksonville try to get on A1A and any road that get close to the beach. The ride from St Augustine south to Daytona is very nice along the beach. Just work your way south along those roads go back to I 95 around the Palm Beach South are unless you like traffic. If you want away fro that traffic take the Turnpike South. when you get down that far. strongly suggest to take the extra 2.5 hours without stops to go all the way to Key West. The Overseas Highway is a very nice ride. Have fun be safe

when stationed at Patrick AFB I lived just off route A1A....riding that road is a deathwish in a car let alone on two wheels. Folks drive like hell and don't pay attention...AND there are just too much traffic in that area IMO.

Ride safe and have fun!

Been in south Florida since '81. North Florida has some nice rides. South Florida you pretty much need to take the parkways to get anywhere unless you like traffice.
Cant't wait to retire to Tennessee. 1-1/2 years to go.
