Auxiliary fuel tank

Have any of you installed an auxiliary fuel tank on a 2016 Tri Glide Trike and if so I would like to see some pics. if possible. I know one of the trike manufactures in either MI or MN make one for their conversions for around $700 or so.

Also who's trike conversion does Harley use, or is it as the dealers say made by Harley?? Kind of hard to believe but maybe they do.

And the Harley Trikes ''Are'' made by Harley and in their own Factory's...

Thanks Rino 2. I've been riding for 50+ years but this is my first trike and also my first Harley so I'm sure I will have a few questions going forward

No problems... Ask as many questions as you like' The'll all be answered.

I'll ask you one Which Harley Trike and year did you get...

Welcome to TT!:pepper:

I don't know of anyone that has added an aux fuel cell. Although it would at times be nice to have more fuel I have not had an issue with running out of fuel for many years now. Even way out west.

Welcome!

I moved up from a Honda VTX 1800 to my 2015 Tri Glide.

The VTX had a very limited range and at 100 miles, I was stopping for gas. I actually was embarrassed when riding with my Rolling Thunder Brothers who made jokes about my Honda.

Last year on Black Friday, a Brother and I found my trike and I have never been made fun of again.

The Tri-Glide has good range and I would never consider adding another fuel cell. I get about 200 - 220 miles on my tank and I run out of bladder before I run out of gas.

I think you will find that 3 hours +/- is long enough to go without your eyes turning yellow!

welcome aboard. your questions have been answered. ask away when you need more info. The Harley Tri-Glide is made in their York PA factory.

W had a Goldwing trike with a California Sidecar kit and it had a aux fuel tank. Don't know if anyone could adapt it for work on the TG or not . Would be nice for a warm and fuzzy on long trips.
