A Little Joke, How Many Forum Members Does It Take To Change EPA Legal Mufflers

How many Forum members does it take to change a muffler EPA legal or not??

* 1 to change the to the EPA legal mufflers and to post that the mufflers has been changed.
* 14 to share similar experiences of changing to the EPA legal mufflers and how the mufflers could have been changed differently.
* 7 to caution about the dangers of changing to the EPA legal mufflers.
* 1 to move it to the muffler related section.
* 2 to argue then move it to the chit chat section.
* 7 to point out spelling/grammar errors in posts about mufflers.
* 5 to flame the spell checkers.
* 3 to correct spelling/grammar flames.
* 6 to argue over whether the mufflers were really EPA mufflers or not... another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid.
* 2 industry professionals to inform the group about the proper EPA stamping terms.
* 15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that EPA muffler stamping is perfectly correct.
* 19 to post that this forum is not about mufflers or the EPA and to please take this discussion to the exhaust forum.
* 11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use mufflers and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum.
* 36 to debate which method of changing the mufflers is superior, where to buy the best mufflers what brand of mufflers work best for Harley's and what brands are faulty or EPA stamped correctly.
* 7 to post URL's where one can see examples of different mufflers.
* 4 to post that the URL's were posted incorrectly and then post the corrected URL's.
* 3 to post about links they found from the URL's that are relevant to this group which makes mufflers EPA compliant or not relevant to this group.
* 13 to link all posts to date, quote them in their entirety including all headers and signatures, and add "Me too"
* 5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the muffler EPA controversy.
* 4 to say "didn't we go through this already a short time ago?"
* 13 to say "do a Google search on mufflers and the EPA before posting questions about mufflers.
* 1 forum lurker to respond to the original post 6 months from now and start it all over again.
* 1 forum member who actually went and bought the EPA legal muffler after reading all this advice - and found that it wouldn't fit . . . which started off a new thread about muffler retailers and how good/bad they are . . .


I hope Everyone Gets A Big Laugh Out Of This.... I did.

Yeah,,, But after you change out the fake epa mufflers,, what kind of milage do you get? How many miles will your tires go? How hot will your right calf get? What windshield works best with these mufflers? Will your trunk lock still function correctly with these mufflers? What seat will work the best after the change? So many unanswered questions!!!!!!! ok now,,, everyone get busy on these!!! ThumbUp :D

you forgot one....

* 1 forum moderator to delete all the muffler posts because they mentioned another forum.
 
Egads, I'm exhausted after reading all that....oh, by the way, my V&H mufflers are not EPA legal, don't give a rats-ass about gas mileage, have the perfect seat and backrest, gps to next gas station, handle bars changed...and "WHAT'S FOR DINNER"?
 
Forget the mufflers....What kind of oil do you use? :pinkpachy:


Ha... now that you ask :laugh: ....HD360 20/50..(Prefer over Syn in engine without getting into all the debate :gah:) Formula Plus in primary...Spectro Platnium 6 speed specific 74/140 Syn tranny fluid. I have used this combo for years with great results in all my Harley's.
