Is there a general recommendation between the two? I was ready for a stop and especially my tailbone, after about 1 1/2 on the stock seat. I have a 2105 TG.

your going to get a lot of advise on this topic.

I found the Road Zepplin ok but did not suit me for long distance. Everyone is different for comfort zone.

One seat I did find to my needs were the Ultimate Seat..I can sit on that thing for hours and back side was happy with my purchase. :D

My '13 lately feels like I'm riding on the frame. I've got ~30K miles on it and there are scuff marks on top of the side covers where the seat is curled down and rubbing.

Tomorrow, I'm headed to a high-end, trophy-class local upholsterer who is going to "sculpt" my seat, add gel packs and recover it with better than "MoCo grade" fabric with UV protection, using UV-resistant thread. Expensive, you ask? NO! Under $200!

We tried all of the HD ones and ended up with the Zeppelin, the Hammock was pretty comfy for me too but the wife didn't like the ride in the back.

I have a Mustang seat on my Freewheeler. Previously had a Mustang on my 2000 Road King which I kept and put on my 2005 Electra Glide CVO when I traded the Mustang for it. I had over 100K miles on that seat when I trade the 2005 off and it still felt like new. I highly recommend Mustang seats. I had an Ultimate Seat on my 2012 Victory Cross Country Tour and it was also an excellent seat.

I put the Zeppelin on my 2014 and have never looked back.

I know it may sound crazy; but being able to deflate it and then re-inflate it while riding always gives me the very best "comfort fit" on long rides.

For me it was worth every penny.

Seat choices are very personal, what one person loves another hates. I have a Zepplin on my Triglide and I really like it. It is the older 3 button model. If I was going to go with a non air bladder seat, I would choose a Mustang; but that's my personal opinion

I guess I didn't think this through. It's all about personal preference. I have a Mustang on my '98 Superglide. Far better than the stock seat, on which I kept sliding around. I had to send it back to Mustang because it became uncomfortable after about 1 1/2 years. They rebuilt it for me for free. They stand behind their products! Having said that, I am reluctant to spend big bucks again, without 'trying out' a seat.......

Best thing to do is to find out if your local dealer still has the seat loaner program and demo the seats you may like. This is how I decided to spend the extra money on my Zeppelin seat for my '12 and moved to my '14. Been using it for over 4 years and happy I made the purchase.<br />

Like it has been said, everyone's butt is different and you will receive many different opinions on all the seats available.
