...since I posted anything.But have kept up on the reading part.

3 weeks into a new knee.Total replacement on the 11th.It just plain sucks,but is starting to feel better.

The therapist ask me if was going to talk to my doctor about when I can ride.No,I will not...as soon as I can get around good with a cane...I will ride.

The wife has been great through this,helping me bathe and listening to my whining and sniveling.I reckon I owe her a dinner.

Ride a stationary Bike`

My best friend had his knee replaced two years ago. I gave him my bike, and it really made his recovery quicker and increased mobility in the knee. Follow doctors orders to prevent issues and they are not pretty. Good luck keep you and your wife in our Prayers.ray: Fred

The key to recovery is therapy. My wife had both knees replaced, sept full knee on the right, dec full knee on the left. It was a chore but we made it. She is the best weatherwoman there is, a day before the storm hits she knows it.

The best thing for her is there is no pain in the knees and she pretty much does what she wants.

Also had some hardware removed that had been in there for 36 years.Other than cabin fever and bored outa my mind,things are coming along.

PT has been in home,but monday I start out patient therapy.At least I can get around some on a cane.
