Does any one know of a company that makes a flat bed short trailer, wide enough for a trike? Or should I just check for what's available at U-Haul?

Even if a trike fits on a trailer doesn't mean it will pull good. You need some extra room to get the hitch weight right or add weight to the trailer somehow. It will pull like a wet noodle if you don't.
From the specs I've read, trikes are less than 5' wide and other than the Roadsmith HT1500, slightly less than 10' long. I have a Big Tex landscape that is 6'x10' I.D. you may be able to fit it onto a 5'x10', but I would try one before buying.
