Voyager Trike

I had a voyager trike for approx 5 years, for the price I paid it really performed well and got me to a lot of places, certainly was a deciding factor in purchasing a HD Tri Glide in 09, it taught me that I loved triking but wanted a full warranty, storage space and more comfort for longer trips, and I had to save up that long to be able to afford the Tri-Glide......... but I enjoyed my voyager while I had it, I had it on a V-Star, Green and White, it looked great....

Had one for 3 years on a 1980 Goldwing... All I can say is it works
Cons. Low ground clearance ( bottom out on speed bumps)
Rear tie wear
Leans backwards
Noisy
Had a lot of breakage ( welded it together more than once )
Very heavy steering
Got tired of the training wheel comments.

Don"t have a Voyager; but aquired a 1994 Kaw. Vulcan 1500 with a Tow-Pac kit on it this past July. So far I am more than satisfied with it. Got to where I couldn't hold the Lowrider up at stops and manuevering it around my garage; and didn't want to spend a lot on a trike until I knew I'd like one and could learn to handle one. Have ridden the Tow-Pac 1300 miles so far without any problems. May go to a "regular" trike in the future or may just keep what I have....either way, a 56 year bike veteran is still riding....just with extra wheels. Don't feel 70 yrs. old on the Tow-Pac...lol
