We have put about 1300 miles on our ultra champion trike, getting better all the time, until friday afternoon.I was setting at a stop light in traffic when the driver behind me hit me,not hard, still quite a jolt plus broke the body on our new trike.I was thankful my wife was not on the trike with me and thankful that she was not going any faster then she was.We get the estimate tomorrow and the accident report. We can still ride the trike.I talked to the people at champion, they seem real nice and talked of rushing a body through the process, that would be great. We are going to the harley 105 anniversary and was concerned on it not being done by then.

Really sorry to hear about your misfortune. Glad no one was hurt and the bike can be fixed. Make sure to look for hidden mechanical problems due to the accident and not just the cosmetic ones. Hope you get to enjoy the 105th ride, sounds like it will be loads of fun.

WEB, the fact that you didn't get hurt is THE MOST important thing. I know it makes you sick when something like this happens, but it will get repaired. Just goes to show that no matter how careful and observant we are, you never know where it will come from. Glad you're ok and let us know how it goes..:)

Glad to hear youre ok web. I really like to add a light-bar bumper or a light strip to my trikes to help the cage drives see us. Did you have one?

I have the harley spoiler on my trunk with the led lights in it and also have the kit so my brake lights will flash 3 times when I hit them. She told the police that the light changed and she went but I didn't,thats funny, nobody in front of me did either,oh well.

Just cuz the light changes doesn't mean you can go. Just another cager not paying attention and then blaming the biker. Go figure. Goodyour luck with your repairs.

I am not sure the light changed, that is what she says, doesn't matter, still her fault.the estimate is in,about $5500,new body to be shipped on aug. the fifth. Thanks Champion
