CB Radio

Has anyone installed a CB radio to the SS? If so what did you use & how did you install it?

J&M makes a great little CB unit and if you want to put intercom and radio in your helmet it makes since. A friend of mine just got his SS and is thinking about how to add intercom to make it easier to talk. You can also add the bluetooth unit with the CB and makes everything better (IMO).

I'd have to agree that a J&M CB would be the way to go. I don't have a SS so can't talk intelligently about it, but if there is a place to mount one that you can easily reach the push to talk lever then you got it made. It's somewhat weather proof but they do come with a rain cover. And even with the cover on I can still use it and change volume. Changing channels isn't so easy though with the cover on. But yes, a J&M is the way to go.

Thanks for the input about installing a CB, I have come up with a way to use an old CB I already had & it works great.
