Do you think riding two up would change the setting, or does the trike stay steady enough in the front end as not to show enough to adjust?

Gorilla was correct with the distance and height. That 25 ft is an important measurement, HD says 25 ft to the front axle. The height is also adjusted on the low beam led light.

I am sure having 2 up could make a difference. I made sure the air pressure was accurate and had the wife on the trike in the riders seat, not the passenger seat as the trike supplement states.

I refused to buy a 100.00 socket to adjust the passing lights. I made my own special socket. A six point deep thin wall socket and a hand grinder and a few minutes and I have a socket that I will probably use 2 times in my lifetime. Jim

Desertclassic, That is a lot of lights in the front! How is your night driving, is it bright? I have a set of driving lights in front, low to the road and they give me plenty of "frontal" lights when traveling at night.

I have only taken one ride at night since the install and alignment, very good. It is so bright here in the desert that I wanted to make sure that I was seen in the daytime. Jim

I have noticed as I get older, my eyes do not let in light like the use to. I was able to see at night when younger, but now, I need all the light I can get to see.

Notice it big time on a rainy dark night, more so than other nights, when everything seems very-very dark.

So, make the night, light again, by adding more lumens to the front of the trike. LOL

Maybe is the fact, that as you get older you realize you don't heal as fast as you did when younger, so you try to ovoid getting hurt. I know coming back from health issues, take longer than it use to, even from 5 years ago.

More lumens in front means better safety for some, but greater danger for others! LOL

Yea now we think about the what if's about what could go wrong. When we were younger we just went out and were stupid. Luckily most of the time we got away with it. I have caught myself several times taking the TRI up to 100 MPH and then thinking what if a dog or some other critter came out and then slowed down. In the old days I would of just keep right on pushing.

Does this happen to anyone else... It a rare moment when i'm in a stupid mode, And blasting along...A little bird in my head will sometimes say slow down stupid , And just like clock work as soon as i do , There will be a deer or something in the road, Or a Cop hiding off to the side...

It's like that little bird knew what was up ahead. and is given me a wake-up call..

Your right about the little birdy, I was going down I-95, the other day doing 80mph, when you start thinking about what would happen if this..and that happened..then you slow down...

Changed engine oil on Monday, anticipating a short weekend ride.

With 5-10" of anticipated snow arriving tomorrow into Saturday, the first of April, don't think I'll be riding this weekend now

HOPEFULLY I'll wakeup Saturday, to find that the weathermen were playing an APRIL FOOLS day trick on me with all the snow...

Had my Heathen trike inspected the other day. It passed without any issue.

Spent more time talking to the guys abut how I built it and the one I am building now then we did on the inspection

On the new build I mounted the Turbo 400 transmission to the engine and now I am working out the angles and drive shaft length

Yes, know what you mean about speaking to the "inspector", as you get your ride inspected. Do you have a flat fee for your inspection or does the shop set the rate? Ours, the shop sets the rate, which can be from a low of $25 to a high of $40 per year.

I take my to a mostly Harley shop, which has the lowest price. The first time I took it in, he looked at it and said, this thing is a beast of my 1800 Hannigan trike. Where do I start, then he said, let's start with the horn, and both of us laughed!
