I guess the hurricane weather was far enough away to make it a go but I thought they were at first concerned about the weather and had plans to delay the landing. Things change quickly I reckon.:clapping:

1 of the astronauts, Is from my area & went to my high school.

When I was younger, I used to love to watch the return to earth & splashdown. Its been 45 years.

​ I was I didn't see the astronauts get out of the capsule. Were they able to walk OK? After 3 1/2 weeks in the hospital (2 yrs. ago) I was pretty shaky at walking for a couple weeks.

They wheeled them out on a gurney (precaution), but, they were sitting up and looked fine ... a little wobbly trying to figure out gravity again, then add the weight of the suits ... guess they left them on for Chinese virus protection ... LOL ... Faucci did say if you have a shield you should use it.
