Tri Glide windshield??

Thinking of buying a new windshield. need advice I am looking at the LRS and the freedom shields maybe an 8 or 9 inch. I am able to see over the stock 10 inch.

I have had LRS on my trike for the last 4 years. Excellent windshield. Most recently installed a 9 inch Reaper. Whatever you order is a 1/2" shorter. 9" is 8 1/2" and so on!

Can’t go wrong with either one, I have a freedom shield and love it, can’t remember the size but it is light tint and I love it, can see great even at night if I have to look through it, good luck.

LRS for us

We have many but we have chosen for the Flat Top Elites for us 9" light tint for cooler weather and a 6" that is no longer available for hot weather like coming to us soon. The Bride says she get very little wind. Good luck on your choice we like ours a lot. Ride safe Fred

Ladyonamission said you didn't like the one you had last year, what was it if I may ask

All for now Trampas

Even though I was using those very soft cloth rags (forget what they are called) Freedom shield became very scratched up & would not shed rain. When we got home I pulled out an old LRS ,didn't have a scratch on it. Only reason I had changed was Freedom had a wider shield for the Trike. Now LRS has the Reaper & it is wider that a stock also. Boys got me one for Christmas to go on my new Tri when it came in March.

Thanks for the reply, sounds like Freedom shield is not up to the hype they say, are you talking about mirco fiber rag, I use them all the time but I don't use them on my stock windshield, not sure why just don't. The reason I ask is because I'm thinking of getting a new windshield for my bike, stuck between LRS flat top and the Freedom shield touring width.

Thats it micro fiber. I have CRS so need help sometimes. :gah: The new LRS Reaper is ,I believe, as wide as the one from Freedom.
