i edit the post a little. we replaced the Heim rod ends. what info will help ? and i can try and figure this thing out.

Sounds like you have a Motortrike, but a picture of the body would be helpful. Have you tightened the steering bearings? Does the trike have raked triple trees (AKA Ez-steer).

looks like a motor trike to me.

And that mount looks like it's cracked. I cannot now remember where I read that that was an issue, but if it is that could be part of the problem.

unsure what a "motor trike" is it also has the screaming eagle package on the motor. used to have a small wobble around 20 or 30 mph and I could throttle though. i replaced front tire with used tire I know bad ideal. drove it less than 100 miles and was on express at 70 mph and it tried to shake my wife off. was able to get off express and do back roads fine. Now my mech can get the wobble to stop. he told me that crack was trans where swing arm mounted but I will ask again. he think I might have to replace the whole rear end and i don't know if I have the money for it.

Motortrike is the brand of conversion. They should have installed an EZ-steer, as it makes the trike easier to steer. If the motorcycle frame is cracked, it will be a big job to disassemble the motorcycle, remove the neck and get a replacement frame from HD and this is an expensive job.

i will ask my mech. again i believe the pics he sent me was the top of the rear def. were the bike attaches but i will double check. there is no east steer on the neck and the neck is not cracked.

Nice looking trike - does indeed look like a MotorTrike - the rear on my GW looked the same.

I no longer have that Wing - but as I recall, I had to put a rake kit on to make it steer easier. My bike had a 3% rake. My new Harley trike is a CSC conversion and has an 11% rake.

Hope it all works out for you

being told this iso. plug is a known problem in Harleys. now i have to look for a Mobile TIG Welder to fix case and then have to by new Billet Isolators. and he says the crack is on the rear transmission where the pivot shaft goes though. he is speaking foreign lang. to me. for the Isolators he recom. Raw M3 from Mad Monkey Motorsports.

May be better off to get a good used transmission or new one . Why did that crack like that?
