heel and toe shifter lever?

well got the one I thought would work but nope . still looking - kawasaki vulcan 900 "2008" anybody out thier might have one?:(

If the one you got off ebay was for a VN900 Classic it will fit your Custom because the frame, engine & transmission are the same on the Classic, Classic LT and the Custom but you will need you the whole assembly, including the spline shaft which activates the transmission because that part is different lengths between the Custom and both the Classics.

The Custom has footpegs not floorboards ..... the bracket for the floorboard has the shift pivot location. I guess you need to either look for floorboard brackets which may also affect the brake pedal location ... or use the heel-toe and weld the heel to your existing toe shifter.

Yeah, I was including that in my "need the whole assembly" without saying that. I figured he would be changing over to floorboards because a heel toe shifter would be weird to use with pegs I would think.

yes , looking at whole assembly for floor boards, for both sides. or just weld one on found a freind who is willing to do it.- mabie?

I went the other way. I have a 2000 vulcan, took the floorboards off, rather have pegs. I couldn't get comfortable l broke my ankle twice and the angle was wrong for me. Got pegs for an 800 off ebay. They were'nt a bolt on but a block of steel and a welder took care of it.

You'll want to modify your method of searching if you need everything. The Custom as others mentioned only came with pegs. If you want floorboards, full linkages, brake pedal, etc; you'll want to look for parts from a Classic or Classic LT since they both came with floorboards & I THINK they both came with heel toe shifter.

There are a few on Ebay & prices seem to vary wildly. Might also try calling OZ Powersports in Ottawa Kansas, they have a few salvage ones they're parting out.
