Okay, I'm just saying, these last few weeks before I retired I been riding to work everyday. Seems to me around 30 degrees is about perfect weather for the trike. A good jacket and a neck gaiter and I am good to go! I'm gonna break out the Carhartt's when it starts getting around 25.

Well 30º is getting down right cold for me but if I have a escort to do I'll do it. But agree a good jacket, gloves, and neck gater are a must. Okay, I cheat and use electric jacket liner and gloves.:p:p:p:D:D:D

Even better her in Florida - finally cool enough. :clapping:

More seriously. don't forget heated vest, et cetera. When I was riding in cold weather, I found that a breeze would get in here, then there, and eventually I'd be shivering. A good heated vest or jacket liner fixes that. Feels like a warm sun on your back on a cold day.

Nothing heated yet, but I do use a couple of rice bags. I'm really surprised at the comfort. My previous bike had no shield, the fairing and shield work wonders. And no bugs! I will have to do a 25 mile ride in Jan or Feb when I move. Hopefully I will have some heated gear by then!

A bit warmer this week here

The Trike runs so much better @ night when the air is cooler

I watch this temp on my Power Vision with Intake air Temp;)

Doing the Chicago Toy 4 Tots Parade this Sunday. Normal temps should be in the 30's, but this Sunday it's going to be in the lower 50's and sunny. To me that's too warm, but I'll take it. No heated gear this time.

Hopefully my Freeze Your Ass Off ride Jan. 1st will be a lot colder. :)

Kevin and Mary,

Have a wonderful weekend, a Merry Christmas and a fantastic 2018.

Just want to let you know that the floorboard extenders I bought from you make my riding so comfortable and the LED lights do a wonderful job of lighting up the road and making my trike more visible to oncoming traffic.

Thank you.

We have been in the 50's for quite a spell here, could have been riding but already put her away, I do see quite a few out and about, they are dressed for it to, I just don't liked getting that dressed to go riding, t shirt and jeans for me, no winter clothes for me on a bike.

All for now Trampas

I haven't put mine away for winter just yet. Been doing some 80-90 mile rides lately. Going on a nice ride tomorrow. All this week supposed to be in the lower 50's. Just have to dress with a few more layers. We have ride planed for Jan. 1 in memory of a fallen biker. Went last year. Was cold and 40 mph winds, but I did it. Hope it's just a little bit warmer and no wind. Happy Trails.

Lola, Thank you!!! :)

Mary and I wish the same for you and yours!

Happy to hear you are enjoying the mods, here's to many miles of smiles for you! :D

Been riding all week with temps in the mid - high 70's. Cold weather scheduled to arrive in the Texas Hill Country by Tuesday so plan to get some riding done over the next three days.

Great weather in STL today at 64° with clear, sunny skies.

You're right Jack, my FW runs great at these cooler temps.

Am I the only one who loves the way the new M8 107 sounds stock? I like going under an overpass & getting on it.(Yes)

Nope! There are at least two of us.
