Hello Everyone,

I have been on the forum now for a couple years reading a lot, i have been talking with Zook on the phone and made several visits to his shop trying to decide on which kit to go with and which bike to convert. I have 2 bikes, an 03 Firefighter Ultra Classic which is a very special bike to me and a 2011 Ultra Limited. Looked at the Hannigan Transformer and Roadsmith HDTR for the FF bike but no one offered an auxiliary fuel tank for it.

I looked at the CSC Daytona kit and fell in love with it for the FF bike but, when i found out i had to run their mufflers and could not run mine then that was out the window. I have now decided to go with the Roadsmith HDTR kit with the auxiliary fuel tank and convert the Ultra Limited. I am just waiting on the kit to come in and Zook to get caught up on the conversions he has ahead of mine, couple weeks ago when i was at his shop it was wall to wall trikes and bikes and people still calling while we were talking. i will try and get some pictures once it's completed and post them on here.

Howdy back at ya, you are very right about Zook being busy, i have no doubt about him being the best at what he does, i have read here on this forum about him so many times and actually talked with Clint 44 about his transformer conversion and he had nothing but praises for Zook.

Congrats Ronnie, it will be worth the wait.

Thanks Zammy, i have been kicking this idea around and looking at kits for a couple years now and finally committed to the Roadsmith.

I have no doubt that it will turn out great coming from Zook. I have been to his shop several times, looked at the conversions in progress and talked with him for several hrs each visit and i can tell he is very committed to his work and his customers.

thank you with all the mods ive made it is a sweet ride. yes very good in the wind and around the big rigs

In all my years of riding i have never really liked the fixed fairing look but never took the time to ride one. They are starting to grow on me the more that i look at them. I might just have to go test ride one just to see what they ride like.

Hello to everyone again,

First of all i want to thank Zook and Russ " who works for Zook " for the great job they done on my Roadsmith conversion. When i showed up Thursday to pick it up Zook had it sitting in the parking lot shinning like a new Dime, it really looked good. I took it for a short test ride and it felt really good. I have rode 4 wheeler's for a lot of years and when i test rode the trike it was like getting on a 4 wheeler again to me, only better, the ride and handling were great. After going over everything with Zook i headed home, the 60 mile ride home was better than the test ride because it was longer, i have 200 miles on it so far and look forward to putting a lot more on it. Here is a picture of it.

Very nice great color enjoy the comfort. Fred

Dang ... sweet looking ride ... I try not to get too complimentary towards Zook ... he once told me he was getting a big head ... but ... Looks like he did a great job on that one too ... I don't think I've ever heard a bad word about one of his builds ... but everyone is human, so there maybe one or two (maybe that will keep his head normal size and his feet on the ground). If it was all up to me ... I'd be sky writing his praises over Texas, he runs a great site and has been a good friend that has been there for me in some tough times ... but ... pretty sure that would make his noodle swell some .... :D

CONGRATS on a GREAT looking trike. Randy's devotion to the sport really shows. When you look up great installer/converter guess who is pictured.

Randy runs a first class operation, your trike is the proof:clapping:

Thank you Ronnie, it was a pleasure working with you. Your patience with the manufacturer shipping your kit was way better than mine, but they finally came through. Enjoy your trike!
