FYI, Harley Davidson of Easthampton Massachusetts is closing their doors on September 15, 2020.
Another Dealer closing their doors for good.

Also read that Barnett H-D is closing their Las Cruces, NM, store. It may be a secondary retail location (SRL) of their big store in El Paso. In any case its been open for twenty years. My local dealer just closed his SRL here in the greater Memphis area. I think this is the harbinger of things to come.

Thats Harleys new plan...Kinda like what happened to the big 3 Auto companies a few years ago..Closed some dealerships/brands..[Mercury 'Olds' Pontiac Plymouth']
Too many dealerships ...Harley is doing it by cutting back production...I've been in 3 dealers the last month and they all have very few new bikes to sell..They are even dragging used bikes out of the basement dusting them off and putting them on the showroom floor ..

We have not seen bad yet, but its coming, local dealer here (family owned ) has a total of 4 dealerships in a 30 mile radius and 1 boutique type shirt and trinket store also. I dunno how they keep them all open?

I can't remember the name but I heard an old HD dealer in Indiana is closing.

The Harley shop in Springfield Ohio was shuttled last year.

Seems to be a sign of the economic times. Without jobs and money people cannot buy things and are making do with what they have.

The responses are what they feel is causing the dealer to close. So they are somewhat on point. As long as the comments are not inflammatory and/or confrontational I will allow them. If it turns into a debate then it will have to be moved to the jungle. For now all is (a okay).

I don't think the members feelings about Biden have anything to do with a HD dealership closing. No matter how you want to white wash these cult comments,they were confrontational and political.Thank you for your response anyway.

Its not only motorcycle dealerships closing, but look at the Mom & Pop businesses of all types including that small motorcycle shop you get parts from, businesses that are going away in your community. When one domino falls they all fall. It has everything to do with the signs of the times, no income=no purchasing power.

The down fall of the Mom and Pop hardware stores....And probably most of the others is..
Simple...You need two bolts and nuts, You go to Mom and Pop pay the 3 dollars and you're done.... Now say you need a box of them you aren't gonna pay Mom And Pops prices.....So its either the internet, Or the big box store that you go to..
How many times have you heard/seen in forums , Where someone will ask i need a helmet or a jacket but i don't know my size.....And the replies will be go to the dealer... [Some times the'll use the fraise Stealers' Those are people who never had a business of their own]... And try it on , But don't pay their price.....Now that you know what fits you order it off the internet...

I think strongly that living in a Democrat controlled USA is going to very negatively affect how ALL businesses are run in the future. As many as 25 HD dealerships have already closed. HD factory has laid off many and we will not see the 21 models til spring. This has not happened before in recent times. I fear we have NOT seen bad yet, but it is hiding right around the corner. I hope I am wrong

You Calling TT members a CULT is confrontational, calling Biden mentally diminished is an undeniable Fact.
If you don't agree with political comments in non political threads then why are you fanning the flames? No one made a personally derogatory attack on you, but you did.
I will have to agree with you though, that Biden had nothing to do with some Harley dealerships failing (though all of the failed dealerships listed were in heavily Democrat controlled cities) Harley needed no one's help with that, they lost touch with their base.
If elected though, Biden and Liberal Democrats will have everything to do with America turning into a Lawless, Socialist Shit-Hole like every Democratic controlled state and city has become.
