Vw trike tach

I want to mount a tachometer on my vw trike. I know it has to be for a 4 cylinder and not for a motorcycle 2 cylinder. Who makes a reasonably priced one and water proff I guess.:Shrug: Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

Just installed a tach tonight on my project, bought a super pro from pep boys for 40.00 it mounts good just like a motorcycle gauge and has a metal frame. It has a switch inside it for 4,6,8 cyls looks good seems to work well but beware I wired it in with my horn circuit when I blow the horn the tach jumps up quite a bit. I guess this a delicate instrument. I will wire it with another circuit later Superpro tach #1288 from pep boys

It is a great tach, but will need to run one wire to negative side of coil and other to ground.

Also will need to run positive wire to the ign switch for power.
