took a 600 mile ride 300 each way, fantastic trip rode to Atlantic beach North Carolina then to the Cedar Island took the ferry out to Ocracoke Island just wine,sun, and the best 3 letter word FUN.

Was that 600 mile ride and sightseeing all in one day, or did you stay over night/

Rode that last year yes very very nice.

Stayed a week 300 last Saturday then 300 this Saturday, hav'nt been there in years.

We used to visit that area many times years ago.
I had a Brother-In-Law that lived in Richmond Vi.
They built a summer home on the sound side of the Outer Banks.
As I remember, we turned on the road that ran in front of the Wright Brothers museum to get there.
I'm sure it's been built up a lot more since our last visit in 1992.

I did a ferry ride from cedar island about 2 1/2 hours by,boat to Ocracoke island if you want step back in time and just relax great place.
