Older Goldwing trike kits?

Does anyone know where I can get a trike kit to put on a 83 1100 interstate gold wing? I got the bike from the original owner who kept it in a heated garage and the bike only has 4288 miles on it. Any help would be appreciated.

MSocko: The correct statement is "those older wings ARE neat".
I have an 82 1100 Interstate with a 1999 Lehman kit. Had 51.6K miles when I got last June and now has 68K miles. Barely broken in. And, I still put 10K miles on the Shadow trike.
DCryder: I like the ki on the 1100 on Steve's website. Hope you find your trike kit and that you post pics/status reports.

Those prices are good from Tri-Wing, they don't really illustrate the dynamics of their rear ends-would be interesting to see one! Also curious about if they are IRS or solid axle? Nice looking kits though, I have never heard of them till now.

Dayum, I thought my conversion was hairy-but this is quite a bit more extensive than a belt drive on an HD! I don't know if I would tackle one of those!

I was talked out of adding a $9,000 kit to the back of a $1,500 bike . Talk about spending a lot on a trike, you will have $11,000 into it.

Exactly how I think of it.....if the bike is not worth at least as much as the conversion-red flags go up. I could see how someone who had a very low mileage bike and just loved it, might be inclined to do it.

I am still checking out kits, but most of them are out of my price range as of now. But I'll keep looking. I am going to ride it as is when I am finished going through it.

If you are not willing to do it yourself and spend in the area of $8,000 then think about a Voyager, or tourpac ,goats wheels etc, That is in the $3,000 used. You may find a wreck the same make and year as your that has been tricked, I sort of doubt it though, trikes did not kit until 1997 era. A 1990 or older is extremely rare. Frankenstein might be the least expensive.

Its not that I am not willing to do it myself, I am. Its just that it is school tax time here and it is exspensive here in NY.
Then in january its land tax so its a no win situation here.
