Things are moving riight along. I've been informed that the Hannigan kit is scheduled to ship on time which means I take the K1200LT to Young County Customs this Friday. It should be completed around the 12th to 15th of September....be here before you know it.

So far it is a blast to ride. One thing that is difficult to get used to is not putting my feet down when I stop. Hope it doesn't go the other way when I'm on the two wheeler.

Re:getting used to triking vs biking-

We have had both a trike and a 2 wheeler for almost 20 years, and I have gotten so used to it that I never do trike things on the bike and bike things on the trike. The caveat there is that our trike always has been very different than the bike. My 2 wheeler is a 1990 HD FLHS, and our trikes have been a VW based Trike Shop V-Cycle Runabout, a 95' Goldwing and now a 2004 Gl1800.

I had a friend with 2 early '90's Wings, both gray, one triked and the other a 2 wheeler. He ended up with nice big signs on the windshield below the vent that said "BIKE" and "TRIKE", to remind him what he was riding.

Putting his feet down while on the trike wasn't the problem, it was not putting them down while on the 2 wheeler!

Very Nice! Ole GP does an awesome job.
Congrats and in retrospect, worth the wait I'm sure. Many safe miles and exhilerating smiles to you and yours
ThumbUp

Yeah, farkles. Thing is....it HAD lots of farkles. I bought the LT new and was getting ready to sell it since I had bought the GTL, so I removed most of the farkles and either put them on the GtL or sold them. Then my wife gets the big idea to turn the LT into a trike so she could learn to ride. I'm going to wait a bit on more farkles.
