Have owned a motortrike IRS adventure trike kit on a 2005 GL1800 for 2 years and am on my 4th driveshaft kit. MY mirrors vibrate so bad I can barely see anything in them. If any one has any ideas let me know.

Something is not lined up right, shaft out of ballance.

Post some pics of it.

Yes- an out of balance shaft, or out of alignment. Call the motortrike tech and ask about this, or take it to a shop that installs trike conversions. Your motor in that trike is one of the smoothest running designs out there- your mirrors should not be shakin like that.:AGGHH:

It has a 3 year warranty and they have had some driveshaft problems.

Call Motor Trike and ask for Rick.

Howdy Randy. What exactly do you mean by "driveshaft kit" That answer will help us help you.

I've spent the last year searching and researching various causes for vibration in the Adventure kit. I finally have mine down to a very minimum and am finally happy. I'll be happy to help but need more information...

Machined me a half inch spacer like Gold Rush told me and got rid of all my vibration below 60 mile per hour. Then got tires road force balanced and got rid of all vibration at all speeds.
