Who has a personal plate on their trike. In AZ with my disabled plate I can only have 4 letters/numbers. Looking for idea's...

I've kept one specific personalized plate since the late 1980's, when they first became available in NY. "EZRDR". Easyrider for the phonetically inpaired. It has been on every Harley I have ever owned. Interesting story about getting it (2nd choice was going to be BOZO). Back then, you could reserve a plate for 6 months before you paid for and received it. It turns out, I called the DMV one day after someones 6 months were up. Never did learn what happened. Also, when I got the plate, there was a finger print in the paint. I will assume that is the person in a prison who made it.

I have a picture of that print somewhere. Just no way to run it.
Also, one year at Sturgis, I met Peter Fonda. He didn't really care about the plate. I think I bored him. I do have a good pic of us together, though.

I have "1984G" for my 1200 Standard GoldWing...not so special.:(
Here in Ontario we are only allowed 5 characters for motorcycles. I asked for a few different ones..but they were all taken.

I guess I was thinking M/C only, but I see some of you listed other vehicles too; My PT Cruiser has Q-RIOT after an 80's? hard rock band, my Caravan has Q-200 after Bert Rutans' home built fiberglass aircraft, and my '83 Honda Sabre had V-45...still have that plate but not the bike.:(
I see that some of you in the U.S.A. are saying that even vanity plates need to be renewed..or someone else can get it?
Hmmm..here they are permanent..they are expensive..last time I got one it was $260.:censored: We can sell them, but no need to renew them. We just get a new validation sticker once per yr. Currently it's $74..:D

With the Texas vanity I just ordered (thanks for reminding me  ) you can only have 4 characters. Mine is below.

The SS is the Navy's designator for submarines and the VT is for VET since I can only have 4 characters total.

I can have 6 characters here in Virginia.

I chose my families real last name. It's also the name I used as the author of the book I published a couple of years ago. After I retire, hopefully I'll finish the sequel.

Are grandkids have to grandpas so to tell them apart I'm GBALDY grandpa baldy goes with the head. My last plate was MYSTAR for my royal star venture. My wifes was MYSTAR2 for her 1100 yamaha star.

ND allows 6 letters on the plates so mine is "NOTIPI" (No Tippy). To be honest here I saw that on a trike from Minnesota that was in the dealership for some work and I liked it. The difference is that his said "NOTIPPY". His was a 2011 Black TG that was loaded with everything on it to make it a Screaming Eagle plus some. Chrome everywhere and with all the Boom audio upgrades as well. ND is $25. extra each year for "vanity" plates which brings the total to $50. per year. All motorcycles in ND are $25. a year regardless of year, make or model and are due Dec. 31 of the year.

2011 Merlot and Black TG, Dennis' lift kit and deflectors, HD LED headlight and taillights, airfoil luggage rack with LED's, lower facia with LED's, LRS 9 inch flattop windshield, stage 1 with CVO slipons and PCV tuner.

Our cars have vanity plated EFUDD and JAL88. My trike is 686989 even if I end up upside down it is still 686989 ..

I have Veteran plates.
On the Heritage; VN 70. The year I went to Nam.
On the Trike; VN 71. The year I came back from Nam.

Means allot to me.

Eighty80.

Trike plate = MY3X (2010 FLHXXX and signifying my 3 ex-wives!) Handicapped plate
2005 HD Nightrain = NOOO (handicapped plate)
1966 Shovelhead = NOPE (Handicapped plate)
1975 FL = NONDN (Looks like an Indian)
2003 Indian = NJUN (Handicapped plate)
2003 Ford Ranger = NOT YOU
2010 Lincoln = DEB 1 (wifes car)

Can you tell I LIKE personal plates?

I grew up in Virginia where there are front and rear plates and I always wanted PLATES. So now I have NC PLATES. I have been stopped one time and the officer asked if the plate was legitimate because nothing came up when he ran it LOL, maybe I don't have to watch my speed so closely!

I used to have vanity plates on everything, but prefer not to have labels these days-you guys all know how I am concerned with political correctness:D. I still have two vanity plates: NUTS(on my HD trike), and BIGGY (on my truck).
