First thing would be to check with your State's DMV or the like to verify the legality and ability to register/plate. It varies greatly by State. Some-perfectly legal, some-not legal at all, some-don't care what you ride as long as they get your money.
There have been 19 of those produced. Six were sent out of the country (Portugal, South Africa, & Australia). The rest are bustin' bugs in various States from Indiana to Florida to Texas.
As for "real" Pros & Cons, may be a little difficult to get owner/operator knowledgable and experienced opinions and actual educated "takes" due to the limited number of them and those who own them.
They are nifty, safe, reliable, predictable, etc. and fun to ride/operate but obviously not suited for everyone. Of the 19 that have been sold, only 1 owner decided he didn't really like it after having it for 1.5 years (personal/physical issues) and sold it.
The rest were/are very happy with them. Guy in Portugal actually owns 2.
Hope this helps.
Well Bob (and any others),,, THAT was the original intention and goal. I am actually very glad you asked this question. This is an excellent place to speak once and be heard infinitly now and evermore. So, here goes.
....<snip>....
There you have it. The History of the HRT Project and the Tale of the Quad all in one.
P.s. There will be NO sequel or prequel.
Any further questions about the HRT: Keep them to yourselves!
Any further questions or interest in the Quad: Call Hannigan ThumbUp
P.p.s.*** Within the segment of those who would actually consider both fairly prior to making an informed and educated buying decision.
Well Zook,,, But Of Course! ThumbUp
Will you be paying with Cash in Mason Jars or Chickens?
P.s. Knew you were kiddin around,,,
Being an "Alabama Boy" you would really want that in Confederate Flag / Skynyrd Hydrocoat Motif, 35" Gumbo Swamp-Paddles, & twin M-60 drum-feds perma mounted in the front fenders and a single Browning 50 cal belt-fed (loaded with spent fuel-rod tipped phosphorous rounds) swivel turret mounted on the rear. I'll throw in the Bear Bryant & Joe Willie bobble-heads at no addtional expense just cause it's You.
(Dontcha go tellin nobody)...
