Roadsmith Trikes

I would like any and all input on Roadsmith Kits, the good, bad, ugly, whatever.

Looks like it is the only kit I will be able to get on my Ultra.

I wanted CSC, but that company is crazy it is my bike not theirs.

Then tried to talk to Hannigan, after 2 days they said they would send me a kit but no warranty.

Niether company has a dealer in Arizona, and no dealer will paint my whole bike.

The worst is their crazy idea I can or would put stock exhaust on my motor.
My motor is 113ci stump puller 100 ft lbs at 1800 rpmand 130 ft lbs at 3000 rpm. I am sure it will jerk a trike around just fine.
My motor builder can do the trike kit and custom modify my exhaust so not to strangle my motor.
Roadsmith is the only company that wants my money, go figure!

See my post on your "New Guy Info Request" tread. As I stated on that tread give me a PM, if I can be of further help.

I purchased a kit from The Trikeshop for my GL1800. My son and I put it on. It took about 20 hours. There was a lot of standing around and shooting the breeze. No problem at all. Great kit and a great ride. It also has a big trunk and the paint matched perfectly. I'm very satisfied. If you have any more questions just let me know. If you were a little closer I would ride down and give you a hand.

Mike, of course I ride a Goldwing, but I researched all of the kits and info I could when I was thinking of buying a new one. Roadsmith is the one I came up with. I got a deal on my Motor Trike instead, but I was very impressed with what I saw. We have 2 Roadsmiths in our local Goldwing chapter now, and the owners love them..

My Screamin Eagle Road Glide was triked by the Trikeshop in Daytona last October. Have really enjoyed it and they did an excellent install with a great paint job. I would have installed the kit myself, but I simply did not have time.

I have a Sportster with a Roadsmith Conversion 2 weeks old. No local Roadsmith dealers here but was put on by my local motorcycle mechanic. He said it was very easy and Roadsmith helped him all the way. I am extremely happy with the independent suspension and the reverse (all included.)
