Tulsa Windshield

In an effort to reduce the wind on my copilot I have been researching a taller windshield for our Goldwing. A friend recently removed his Tulsa and went back to a stock shield and suggested I try the Tulsa. Installed it today and took a short ride, which didn't tell me much with a 29 degree wind howling out of the west. Problem is, I don't have any idea what model of shield I have installed. It is 20.5" from the top of the vent to the top of the shield. Yeah, I know, I should have measured the full shield length before I installed it, but I didn't. If there are any Tulsa winshield owners out there that could enlighten me as to what I have, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time to measure your shield. That tells me that if this doesn't help eliminate some of the wind from the copilot, all these manufacturers are just blowing smoke.
I did notice that the clarity of this shield is better than any I have seen before. It does have the light grey tint, never used a tinted shield before, might like that aspect.
Thanks again for your input.

Tom is yours a Tulsa Tall or is it the Tulsa +4? Ive a Tulsa +4 on mine and being 6ft 2in the wind pretty much goes over me and the missus. I know with the stock shield we used to get beat by the wind pretty badly.

They make a drip edge for it , or you can use auto door moulding and put it around the top edge. I had a problem getting on my trike, hitting my head on the windshield

Ditto! I lived with the Tulsa Tall ( bumping my head every time I got on ) for 3 years before I did the F4

Ditto X 2.

When I bought my present trike, it came with a Tulsa Tall. After hitting my head each time I got on and/or off, I knew it had to go. I now have the F4+4 and love it! ThumbUp

Skuuter we rode 70 miles the first day of December, with a 20 mph crosswind both ways. Part of the ride on the 4 lane at 70 mph and the rest on two lane meandering our way home. The boss said the wind previously was hitting her at the bottom of her shield and now it's at the top of her helmet. Slower speeds on the two lane the buffeting was gone. I'll probably try the F4+4 this spring. I need to return the Tulsa as it was loaned to me as a try it only deal anyway.

THANKS for the INFO.....ThumbUp

F4 will give you the same coverage and the crystal clear view is a + . The slope is less so it my even clear the rear helmet.
