I ride an 09 Vision and would like to possibly build it out as a trike. I can't find any fabricator for this model. I like the CSC but I don't want to invest in a new bike. I just got this one broke in. Any suggestions?

I have a 09 also. I would like to trike it ,but I really didn't want the Crossbow.
I've called all the trike people I can call, and get the same answer- not enough request for them to make a kit.The only place I could find that says thier kit will work on any belt driven drive is a company called Mystery Designs. The cost of thier kit is reasonable I think they quoted me around 9500.00. But that didn't include paint,so I talked to a painter and he said about 900 to 1200 for painting, wich would be about 10,700.00. I can't find anything anywhere that has pictures of a finished trike with thier kit. I have seen one on a vision that the saddle bags where cut up and didn't show a trunk . So I am looking at selling my vision and getting a goldwing trike.

We both like the ride and comfort of the vision, but with my health going south and not want to stop riding,I don't have alot of choices . I may wait another year and hope someone will have a nice kit that will work for us. Oh I forgot to say I called my insurance co. about a trike kit install, they told me if it is installed by someone that is certified by the co that madethe kit, they that they would insure it. Motor Trike,Hannigan, CSC, Lehman all have certifed dealer networks, no do it yourself . But that all I can find out ,so i'll just waite and see what happends for now. If anybody has something better please post or send me a PM. Thanks

Mike

Lehman made the Crossbow version of the Vision trike, but not as a kit, it was turnkey only. I you want to stay with a Victory touring bike, you might look into trading your Vision in on a Cross Country Tour, and having that triked. CSC, Motor Trike and Roadsmith make kits for the Cross Country line. Here is a thread with pictures of the 3 kits: http://www.triketalk.com/forum/victory-trikes-238/any-pics-new-victory-cross-country-trike-13871/

I spoke with Lehman last week about the Crossbow. They are doing factory conversions for their dealers on 2009-later Victory Vision motorcycles. If you really want a conversion, contact your local Lehman Dealer to arrange for a factory install. Don't forget to ask for the reverse gear too.

After Lehman went down and then was resurrected by Champion, I wondered if they would bring the Crossbow kit out publicly, or keep it a factory type conversion, turnkey only from Victory dealers. Makes sense that they will convert current Visions to trikes, though it sounds like you'll still have to go through a Victory dealer.
Lehman has Harley conversions, and also made the Tri-Glide for HD then it first came out , but I suppose the MoFoCo bought or has the rights to the tooling and style of the Tri-gloide after they learned what they could and left Lehman.

A Victory dealer or a Lehman dealer? I believe its through Lehman dealers.

Oops. Yes I would say that it would be Lehman dealers, not Victory dealers.

Former Crossbows were through Victory dealers and turnkey only, that seems to have changed when Champion took over Lehman. I can see some minor confusion as the Crossbows from Victory could still have the full factory warranty, where the newer ones that are customer provided bikes converted by Lehman dealers might void at least some of a new bike warranty like on other makes of motorcycle.
