Victory vs HD

you have to consider what after market products are available. that is if you want to spend more $$ on upgrades, and to make the bike your personal bike.
the victory is newer & probably a-lot smarter design.

in '03 went to the hd dealer to buy a duece....have had a softtail custom in the past....wasn't impressed...same old thing.....victory had a new dealership in the area test drove a vegas...rode it about 10 minutes and bought it on the spot...question of balance..victories are well balanced....moved up to a kingpin in '06 .. also have a pitboss...sold my last haley about 6 months ago...tho would like to own a streetglide if just to look at it

I I switched from HD to victory, both great bikes American made etc etc

My victory XC was converted to a trike last Dec. I just started riding it last month and. I LOVE IT what an easy trike to learn on, 8 degree rake, smooth and just plain fun, and no heat issues.

Really glad I won't to victory and then CSC conversion. I still run a custum victory king pin 2 wheeler also

I thought I posted a reply to this a couple days ago but I see it didn't show up. Strange!
The comparable Victory is a Cross Country Tour. The Victory sells for less than the Ultra Classic but final price depends on what you end up doing to each bike in terms of add ons and accessories, and what trike kit you choose.
You'll have independant suspension with the Victory trike, which, to me, is a huge benefit.
Also, the Victory doesn't run as hot so you won't be spending money on that.
The Victory will be a little more money to start with but will probably be less in the long run.
I have owned both and much prefer the Victory!

well folks just a quick update, been riding over the summer on the trike and my 2 wheelers. Took a trip from Northern Alberta through Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and BC, rode lots of twisties like lolo Pass, Rattesnake etc etc, BC Mountains and I can tell you..........AWESOME on my XC Victory Trike. It took no time to get the hang of the trike and I can jump back and forth from it to the 2 wheelers with zero issues. This trike rides nice, handles great and won Best Paint at the VMC Victory Rally in Lewiston Idaho, out of 370 some, there was 3 trikes there. I did have a timing wheel, programmer and new Lloyds higher flow airfilter installed while there too. Pumps the stage 1 up even more. If your thinking on a Victory Trike this CSC conversion is awesome. I also just read where Harleys Triglide is one of the models with water cooled heads for 2014. I also picked up a 2013 Indian Chief Vintage this summer with the PP105...last of the hand made Indians. Enjoy!
