Trike Kit Installers

Thinking hard on going to a trike looking for good installers in the North Georgia area. A couple in the area both seem qualified but hard to be sure.

I would agree. There are a few "installers" out there that should be avoided. Some offer "free" things while others are fly-by-night operations. Use this rule of thumb....if it sounds too good to be true then it probably is.....

Do your research, ride what you can, and go with your gut instinct.

Stay away from Complete Cycles. PM me if you would like to have the ugly details.

flor1, although not in N. GA, Gary's Hobbie Shop in McDonough, GA. He installs CSC kits only on Goldwings only. Since his focus is very narrow, I believe it would be worth your time to visit them. However, I understand how important it is to have an installer close to home. Google search for Gary's Hobbie Shop.

R&R in Jasper Ga builds a lot of trikes and has a lot of them for sale...
Schroders Honda in Hendersonville NC builds Champion trikes only....also builds custom Wings and Honda bikes...I am waiting on a FB6 spec 3...yes that is right a FB6 w/ nav.ABS and reverse...he is swapping plastic from one to another in black...I will be paying for a spec 3 wing that looks like a FB6...if I don't go with a trike instead...

Wow sounds like you have a ton of builders in GA. I think we only have one left in CT.

Also , what type of bike are you looking at to Trike. If it's a Goldwing I would NOT hesitate going to Gary's Hobbie Shop in McDonough.. He knows wings and California Side Car , inside and out.

Well I would think twice before I would use Completecycle of Rome Ga. Very very poor attention to detail and no help after the sale. I had to real-aline the fenders, bolts were finger tight, one that holds the shock link only turned in a couple of threads, The top box was installed wrong. I'm still working on the Gold Wing itself. Vacuum leaks, The front shocks are missing the air valve plus there needs to be the stronger spring installed that I will do when it comes in.. They did put a 6 degree rake kit on it, I'm grateful for. Enough for now, sorry for blowing off steam. When I get done it should be good.

I have heard nothing but bad things about them. :AGGHH: Tom :Trike1:
