Footage of Tremoto trike heading Pikes Peake

For myself I have prelim approval to submit a quadricycle design for approval and its pretty much said and done with no engineering issues so I'll be looking forward to that. I so want to do it out of an MT-01 but a BMW R1200 would make more sense for having a bike that appealed to/ and was custom ready for European Marketing. So over then next 12 months I hope to run and complete that project if I can raise the funds and in fact get the whole company up and running full time once again through funds I raise so I'll be pumping go fund me or something to help get enough money to at least go boutique any Millionaires amongst us?? :)

Cool video! I thought you were about to go off the road in one of those final turns up near the top!

I rode my TriGlide up Pikes Peak last Summer, albeit a tad slower.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys - wasn't me on the bike personally on this one it was the cheif engineer, I dont think my riding is going to be quite so entusiastic but we wanted to get someone to go hard as the bike could and Eddie has his bike built the longest and the most riding time so he drew the straw to punt it up the mountin. He had done half the course before it got red/white flagged and he had to go back the the statrt so he was knackered to the time he got near the top on the second run and yeah he got a bit deep on a few but what I like about it is that it shows it will forgive the lack of skill and still stay upright even as a leaning trike.

Heres a headcam vid that shows a bit less vibration and a higher view.

Its almost a different ride from up top!

The build of the Qmoto machine ( hopefully)

So its not a Spyder well what is it?. Ive often posted the Y shaped Tremoto leaning motorcycle as it went through its final user testing and stated that I have preliminary approval to get a quad machine built for roads back in Australia and have been very coy about what that model may potentially be. But enough drawings have been finished now of the concept and investigation to think we have a result or enough data to know we can make a working result and so I'll share those pictures with you. I know many of you cant use quads on the road in the US but people are here from the States that can and also from Europe and Asia where they can also be ridden. Also what can be made as a quad will first be made as a trike so will be of interest to US riders as well anyway I hope in droves!

Why post it here? Well its the birth of something new maybe, something that will be pretty stock maybe on its first road rides, but people will see and say look at what I can get done to a (this) bike! Even though I am not happy with the base model were using from my own point of riding view, I had to build something we could take to market or it would be a waste of time. So the biggest market out there in Europe for comfortable multiwheel bikes, fat old bastards like me i guess (although I'm not that old I keep telling myself).

But getting these things to the people has its hiccups even for one let alone for many.

We need 10,000 people to want to be motorcycle manufacturers to the tune of $100 and that will put together a kickass factory that will give things like 6 week turn-around to start and compress that as we have more money and data in the kitty about orders. It will also let us set-up a display ride convoy where we will take several models and let people have a ride on them so promoting the product and making it a great success story for a world wide joint venture. People either want to lean on multi-wheels or not.

I expect it will be very galvanising for a while but if anyone can put an open mind on a new bike product its trike riders who are used to a less traditional rpoute to motorcycling.

So here are some of the less technical images we will be submitting for approval for me here which may or may not affect the overall production of the joint venture.

Welcome the Qmoto - BMW R1200G/GS pre2014 conversion. :Trike1::Trike1:

By the time we have completed bike it'll have all the specs but one thing we had to meet for Australia is a maximum width of 1metre to be a motorcycle, not sure what we have there in the States but I dont think its a metre given the conversions Ive seen. That will make it their narrowest front end yet and I think handling will not suffer for that but in fact be somewhat improved.

Ive posted plenty of video's around places before but I'll put a link again to one now of the Tremoto doing its final user testing, racing up Pikes Peake with some raggedy engineer for a rider where you can see how forgiving the bike is of mistakes with plenty of double apex's as he gets it wrong and that braking power when he almost kisses a bank and then just whirls away.

If anyone is on facebook and wants to follow the progress a little more closely please please please do as that will be the focal point for updates and give us a like so when we advertise it can get round the forums and people who like the concept or just think its newsworthy. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Spekte...84399218276556

So here it goes! (I'd much rather have done an MT-01 :( but they dont even sell them in the US!! go figure that! )

Re: The build of the Qmoto machine ( hopefully)

Had a guy do an animation for a sample of the product in a Harley style format! Looks nice dont you think?

As a launch we would be looking to have up to 10 kits ready to go for the most popular bikes in each segment.
