Really stupid electrical question

Ok, I have a flat 4 prong standard trailer connector on the back of my TG to handle my trailer lights. I have found a really nice LED lighted skull that will replace the trailer hitch ball reviever when not being used.
My question is, will it work and not burn up my bike electronics?
I have no common sense when it comes to electronics.

Yes it will work. You'll probably need to identify the ground and running light pins on the connector then wire up the LEDs to the new pug in. Should work good. I did that to my GL1800 a long time ago and it's still going strong..
