I can report after riding out to Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley and back to the Myrtle Beach area on my trike the fuel mileage would vary from 30 to 32.5 riding mostly interstate traveling between 65-75 mph. The best fuel mileage was actually in the mountains......go figure

Did you slow down a bit when going through the mountains?

No. I figure the gas I got at a Shell station that sold high test often due to the number of motorcycles that come into Maggie Valley. So the gas was fresh. The station also had individual hoses for each grade of gas.

Nice mileage, goes to show you can have a big engine and still get decent mileage.

I think so as well. I have the oil temp gauge installed in my fairing and its hooked into the oil filter bypass housing that came with my Oil Bud Oil Cooler. Running the interstate my oil temp would run around 210-220 in temps up to 85. It would rise to 225-230 in 90 plus.

I got caught in a few traffic jams and the oil temps would rise to 250-255 range with my parade fan running while creeping along. Im running Valvoline VR1 20w-50 racing till I get 2500 miles on the engine.

I have to agree with M3 and the gas mileage should improve when the engine loosen up...about what RPM's were you cruising at "about 2700"?
Butch

I have a 120r crate motor in my 2013 TriGlide w/an HPI 55mm TB and 58mm manifold, SE Roller Rockers and the Dynojet Power Vision w/Auto Tune and am getting a consistent 34 to 35 mpg solo and 32mpg w/wife. I am 160 pounds and the wife is about 130 pounds.

Very happy with the performance and mileage at this point. Motor has about 11k miles so far.

Your speed vs RPM would indicate you still have the stock 2008 Roadglide gearing. Would this be correct?
Engine sprocket 34
Clutch sprocket 46
Front pulley stock 32
Rear pulley stock 66

A stock/ lightly modified 103" wouldn't pull a TG very good at all with gearing like that. I can see a 117-124" doing it nicely though. :)

You are correct. :)
