Highway pegs

When I first bought my Goldwing (2008) I found I couldn't put my foot on the highway pegs because they were too far forward. My leg would hit the plastic trim on the side covers. The side covers have this sharp raised area from top to bottom. I turned the pegs 180 degrees and still my leg hit's the trim. The pegs are all the way back. More than likely there is nothing you can do.

I agree same issue with my Kury pegs.
No matter how or where I position them.
If I can get my foot on it.
My leg hits the sharp angle of the pod side.
I find mine useless.

WOW, I'm pretty "Vertically Challenged" and can reach mine. It's close I have to admit but does offer a third option at least. I do have the 6" arms on my Kuryakan 4056 pegs but most of us do so I bet y'all do also.. I set them so the arms are down lower then a two wheel GL1800 would use them. No worry about dragging in curves...... If you have them up still try the lower position.

Iam vertically challenged and I had a set on Pearl I (1990wing/Motor Trike)and I could never get them adjusted where I could use them. When we bought PearlII (2008 Wing/Roadsmith)she had a set on her already and the second time I set them they worked out fine.Really don't know the answer.RIDE SAFE
