Champion Rear Shock Adjustment

I want to play around with the rear shock setting on my 2005 Champion SA. It's at the lowest setting now and I want to get better response in the twisties. I'm able to get my hand up there with a shock wrench, but can't seem to get enough room or leverage to turn it. Is this something where I have to jack up the rear and/or remove the tires? Or is there a trick to this?

Much easier if you jack the rear to alleviate the weight off the suspension/shock.<br />
Someone else with a Champ SA will need to chime in and tell you what jack-point to use. <br />
Also easier to do if you remove the Wheel/Tire so you can easily get at the shock from the side (unless you jack it up high enough to get at it from underneath).

What bike are we talking about ? I am thinking if it's a GL 1800 the on bord supension adjustment still works or am I wrong ?

</div> Yes...that works...I;m referring to the two shocks bolted to the frame and axle. I was hoping to be able to adjust without jacking it up...<br />
