i have seen several home-made trikes using a 4wheeler rear axle. several using 450-500\cc honda
for rest of their trike. one fellow loves his. it was built for his wife & she wont get off of
it. has put several thousand miles on it since completed. no rake was added to the front
end. anyone on here tried it yet???

The thing to watch for with this idea is to make sure the Quad axle has a differential. Most of the quads with enough axle strength for the street are "live axle" which means no differential. Interesting trying to turn on the pavement! :)

i see where u r coming from. didnt notice but will next time. several in area but seldom get a close look
i wasnt sure they could handle hiway speeds.
