What do you like about your Roadsmith Trike?

Good Morning,,,

Just to add to your confusion,,, Wife and I migrated from a 2003 FLHTUCI to an 08 GL1800 W/ a RoadSmith Conversion. My (our thoughts) after lots of research and looking at other Kits, Conversions, and road tests, ( we did try a HD Triglide) and ultimately went the GW for two basic reasons. After having heat issues w/ the HD, decided to go to the liquid cooled Trike. Also the RS Kit is an additional 8in longer which puts the passenger just in front of the rear differential and not directly on top of the rear differential. Lots of great pros and cons from those that have been Triking lots longer that us. Loved the HD, and do miss it still; really like the Trike. Wished that we made that transition years ago. Best Wishes............ Hutch

When looking to get my 2007 GL1800 triked i did a lot of research and followed Trike Talk for a while. I came to the conclusion Road Smith would be the kit I bought. We have had it for 2 years now and love it. I have put 22,000 mile on my 2007 GL1800 with a 2015 Road Smith kit. I is fun to ride, super smooth . I would maybe someday get a new Goldwing with a RoadSmith kit .

Ride Safe every one

Roadsmith triked GL1800

Looking for almost 3 years at trikes. Finally decided that Roadsmith or Hannigan would be the choice of conversion. Didn't want to buy new so I started watching ads for used trikes. Did hard looking for a couple of years before finding a 2009 GL1800 with a Roadsmith conversion and only 4,000 miles. I believe the kit is a 2012. Enjoyed this unit for 2 years now. The ride is good and the SO is happier than when on 2 wheels. Life is good....:D

DOUBLE A PLUS

OK Roadsmith Trike owners, here's your chance to brag on your Roadsmith Trike and tell current and future trike owners why they should buy a Roadsmith Trike or Trike Conversion. Topics of interest will be ride, handling, features, benefits, design, fitment, service, price, styling, etc. There will be NO FLAMING or complaining in this thread towards any dealer or the manufacturer as there are other places for that.

This thread will be based on your positive experiences and why you bought a Roadsmith and why you recommend Roadsmith to others. Please state the make and model of your bike and the make and model of your Roadsmith Conversion along with how long you have owned it and how many Roadsmith Trikes you have owned total.

I have a new Roadsmith that I got from CUT & SHOOT CUSTOMS this spring and couldn't be happier with. This thing rides Like caddy, corners like it is on rails ,and what a eye catcher She is. Get your self one and you well never want anything but the very best, and that is ROADSMITH . I LOVE IT BIG DENNY :clapping::clapping::cool:

Three Years of FANTASTIC !!

In September 2014 I ordered a new '15 Honda GL1800 40th Anniversary Goldwing and immediately set about choosing which conversion would replace my aging 2006 MotorTrike. My search was short to say the least. In a matter of days I began exchanging emails and phone calls with Taylor at Roadsmith. Together we developed the paint scheme to match the unique 40th Anniversary Honda design. By the time my new Goldwing had arrived the conversion kit was in production. A "LONG" three weeks after I brought home the bike, a very large crate was delivered to my front door. What a GREAT Christmas present that was!!:D

I spent the next 10 days converting my GL1800 into the Roadsmith HTS1800 I have ridden, enjoyed, and bragged about for the past three years! When I finished the conversion (and many times since) people said "This is the most beautiful trike I have ever seen!" But the beauty alone was not why I chose the Roadsmith HTS1800 conversion. I have ridden and wrenched bikes and trikes for over 50 years so what's underneath the beauty means as much or more. The fact that this chassis design has been in productions (with only minor tweaks) for so long is testament to its proven durability and function. How well they were able to design a body that so seamlessly matches the 2012 through 2017 Goldwings was important but how the company worked with me developing my dream trike was the icing on the cake. :clapping::clapping:

I just completed my annual Winter Maintenance and was very please to NOT find a single surprise. I even totally removed and inspected the driveshaft for the first time. So, here we are nearly three years and 30,000 miles later... Still getting the same comments from people, still ridding as often as I can while enjoying ever minute, and yes, still bragging.

RoadSmith Trikes

Short answer: we love our RS Trike, very happy w/ it.. Purchased it in Daytona Apr2016; found the two-wheel to three-wheel Trike a bit concerning but after a few short rides felt right at home with it. Especially like the added 8" frame putting the Pass just in front of the rear diff; much more comfortable for my Wife! Very impressed w/ the IRS, love the ride as compared to the SRS system. Would highly recommend a RS Trike to anyone!!

We took delivery of our new trike conversion in early October this year. After just alittle bit of minor fine tuning, all we can say is WOW! We have ridden about 3500 miles since delivery and the trike has exceeded all of our expectations. All of our apprehensions about going from two wheels to three are long forgotten. The trike rides very smooth, steers great and is a blast to ride.

Roadsmith

I bought the conversion and self installed. The conversion was perfect in every way, the documentation was near perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the ride and handling of the independent suspension. Our first long trip was Key West, gotta make that ride again.

Y'all have just about convinced me that if I don't go reverse trike with a conversion then a Roadsmith is the way to go. I simply MUST be able to keep up with my wife on her Sypder. Know what I mean???

Oh...does this enter me in the T-shirt give away? Not that I've ever won a darn thing.:(

2010 goldwing with 2015 roadsmith conversion. I like to do things myself, with Papa Zooks help I was able to purchase a roadsmith kit,go to the factory ,pick it up,take a tour and do the paint and install myself. The trike rides well, I got the adjustable suspension and extra fuel tank. I did the conversion in the fall ,put about 500 miles on it and took off for the
