If you have a CSC no need to do anything with the exhaust. My pipes sound good and I get a lot of compliments on the sound. I did have a stage 1 map and hi-flo filter installed. It ran well in five mountain ranges in the northeast. By the way I was two-up and loaded with a quick release cooler rack for extra storage. Enjoy you Victory.
I've had several Victorys in the past and they are quite the machine. I'm familiar with all the aftermarket exhaust except what is on this CSC. They do sound and perform fine and look like they have a closed end like a SuperTrapp. Don't know if they were dealer or factory installed. Got this trike from out of state. I have no complaints with sound or power. It's a Victory.
Mine is also a CSC conversion and the factory engineer that came up to Canada for the first ever build of the XC, told me they are in fact...Super trapps.
They sound awesome..many compliments on these pipes sound.
