I am curious if there will be any 2014 Stallions made? I can't find one bit of information indicating whether they will or not. Also, I have a white 2013 Stallion that I wouldn't mind selling

Neil,

I don't think that anyone knows for sure, including Jeff at TMS. After the last 2.3l engine that's in TMS's inventory is installed, your guess is as good as mine as to whether we'll see another new Stallion produced. My recommendation is to hold onto to your 2013 Stallion as I intend on doing with my 2009. I'm not expecting TMS to announce their decision or intention till later this year, October or November is my guess.

So, does Ford not make this engine anymore or just what is the deal? I seem to get misinformation from where I bought it. Also, I want to sell it because I don't enjoy riding bike or trike as much as I anticipated. It's the first bike I have ever owned and regret buying one. I would just as soon have a nice convertible to drive or something on four wheels.

Sounds like you didn't do any research before you got your trike. I assume you got a Stallion and didn't like it. Stallions are just like every other kind of trikes, they are not for everyone!

I spoke to TMS today , they informed me that the last of the 2.3 engines had been installed and at this time NO 2014'S would be made unless another engine source came available ,but at this time no plans sorry I didn't want to hear this either... but hopefully they will come up with something soon so they can startup again with the production . I love mine and would buy another one without guestion * * things I'd like to see on a new model yes...
#1 better sound system

#2 front speakers

#3 factory rear spoiler ( as I now have on mine it looks like factory and really adds to the looks )

#4 factory made rear head rest or at least made available

#5 more chrome + + then then more as I use mine for shows and parades or at least made available for some of us

#6 Dual head lights upper and lower beam

#7 clear L.E.D. tail lights

#8 front and rear chrome Nurf bars / bumper as I'm looking to have a front one made at this time just to protect the front end

#9 air shocks front and rear that stays up over night would be nice

#10 choices for the seats color and fabric

#11 clear bubble lense for the headlight as a VW / porsha maybe ro maybe just a chrome ring at the bottom

#12 racing stripes factory ( stallion ) as pictured above on the yellow stallion been looking for two months for that..

#13 last but not lest more giddy-up off the line,at lest be able to chirp a tire when you want ( LOL )

I know most of the things listed are just things I'd like to see myself its a great machine I'd love to have two one for shows and parades which is what mine is used for and another just to rise hell on (LOL ) with 300+ HP just dreaming you know............ Doc

I did enough research to know that if there was a chance I would enjoy a motorcycle-like experience and ride with my motorcycle loving friends that the stallion would be my best choice. No, I do not enjoy the motorcycle experience. I also don't enjoy owning a dead horse that won't be produced anymore and that was the part no one told me about.

Many of the members of this forum and Stallion owners have spoken with Jeff. He full intends to produce more Stallions. As most of us know the 2.3 liter engine production was move overseas and the engine is no longer available to TBMS. Jeff is going thru the process of engineering a replacemnet that is available for him. As you can imagine this is an expensive process because most of the wiring and other parts will also have to be changed. He is going to want a drive train that will be serviced by the manufacturer like the 2.3 was. The Stallion is not dead it's just being revised. Sorry it didnot fill your desire to ride. I'm sure you will have no problem selling it.

lets see if anyone else has a wish list also

Hey Doc, here's a couple of suggestions:

1. Go to a good audio shop and have a radio, amp, and speakers of your choice installed.
2. Find a upholster and have your seat done the way you want it.
3. Have a fab shop make, and chrome the rear bumper, custom to your design.
4. If your shocks are loosing air, try some soapy water in a spray bottle and find the leak.
5. Racing stripes, take a picture of what you want to any graphics shop, and bingo there you go!
6. Check out Blackburn's, on line, a Stallion dealer in Ohio. They sell a head rest, if you can't find a local upholster that will make one.
7. The rest of your wants, are all your choice, but in my opinion they would add to the cost. And really the weight and function of a front bumper, and front air ride just is not there.
8. But then these are just my opinions, but in two Stallions, I have made these improvements. That's what makes it yours :Coffee:

I have a lot of things custom on mine now ,but just like chrome never enough ,mine can be seen on my face book page Doc Riley

Doc7402, I'm like you and alot of other people who likes chrome. In fact it's my favorite color. The problem is I don't know of any company that make any add on chrome for the Stallion. I have added several feet of chrome on my Stallion but it all came from Auto Zone on a roll. The main problem is, there isn't enough Stallion around for any company to make after market parts.

did your come with the Stallion racing grafics or did you buy them and put then on ?

Mine came bone stock, no stripes or anything. I had my stripes painted on and the Stallion is a graphic / tape so if I didn't like it I could just peel it off. I am planning on getting it painted on when I get a few more rock chips on the bottom.:gah: I got my Stallion graphic at a local sign shop. I just made a template of what I wanted and they made it.

by any chance you still have the template that I could get a copy of it. that would be great if you do , I have a friend of mine that like you has a sign shop and he has told me if I can get a template he would make one for me....Doc P.S.my cell is 813-469-9921 if you get a chance

Sorry but I gave it to the sign shop and didn't get it back. What I did was get construction paper and with some simple measurements made the template. I then told the sign shop to make the STALLION in italic. Hope this helps!
