Reverse Trike - Concept build

Very "dark" and spy-ish . You have so much fun with this, don't you!!!!! I love it!

That's wild!!! I really like the lines even tho' I'm not into reverse trikes. She sort of has the look of a Slingshot Dragster. I'm interested in seeing the street legal version with lights and turn signals!!

In keeping the design clean , maybe a pop up head light ( Mazda Miata comes to mind ) rear brake light looks like it is in place, Rear and front turn sig. (would be cool to have them pop out like the German 1948 VW did.) Storage ???? The rear muffler sort of looks too add on, the Harley one looks great . That's it from my PITA prospective. I would buy it in as a Body & controls kit and just add your own motor. If it could be sold in the $15,000 bracket, less motor you would have a winner.

Some REALY great ideas! You might put some curve into the side pannels. Being completely flat, it'll probably cause handling problems in windy conditions. You might also look at the weight difference between using a thicker skin & no internal bracing vs thin skin & bracing. The thicker skin, say 1/8" thick AL, welded in, would become a part of the structure stiffness eliminating need for the bracing. If you have someway to do structure analysis, you may find a heat treated aluminum skin could be thinner than 1/8" & save even more weight. Another thought: You might enclose the front suspension for aerodynamic reasons. Could also put openings in these enclosures & duct cooling air for the engine back along the lower corners of the body -- where walls meet floor. With ducted air, you could concentrate it where needed in the engine compartment.
Here is a link to a vehicle about like your design. Maybe it will give you some insight on a working platform. You have a good looking concept. Good luck with the rest of your project you have a long road ahead. Keep us posted!
