Accessories you'd like to see for trikes.

I would like to see some accessories actually installed on my trike. The only thing I have so far is a trailer and hitch. I'm hoping Santa is bringing some, but they will be the first in what I hope is a long line of accessories for the yella thing.

I use a small bungee cord, you know that real small one they give you with the set that you never seem to have a use for. I wrap it around the front brake lever and hand grip for a simple way to keep the Wing from rolling. Only a suggestion, it works for me.
Thank you,
Trike Lady

There's an old industrial system called the "Micro lock" that was designed for forklifts & such that didn't have park brakes. Basically, it's a controllable check valve that goes goes between the master cylinder & brake. There's two types, one electric & one mechanical. Flip the switch or lever, pump the break pedal until it's hard & break is set. Flip back switch or lever & it releases. It works good when new, but does cause some problems after it gets a few years on it. It gets so it bleeds off & releases the brake or won't release at all without cracking a brake line. Not the best idea, but it's one solution 'till a better one comes along. Of course, there's always the MSHA/OSHA fix -- the wheel chock. It's a pain in the butt, but it works is cheap.

Reminds me of a line lock used by 4x4s ...

Chrome rails to fit on top of the fenders.

These look cool and they protect the fender from boot scuffs. I know someone who had them made but that's too expensive (about $400 for eight thin rails about 14 inches long each and curved to fit the fender).

I'd like to see a seat arrangement for the Frankenstein that provides a comfortable arrangement for passenger - something that goes back further than any two wheeler setup, so driver and passenger are not so 'scrunched up'.

I would like to find a parking brake set up for a champion trike. It seems every time I leave it running in the morning to warm up It rolls of down the drive way, [not to far]

Road Dog: When your trikes in running in neutral, use a velcro strap tying it around the brake and right handle grip. I use it as well as may others...Goldfever

I think it would b cool if someone would make custom bodies/tail lights for our trikes. I think as trikes become more popular it may happen.

a garage door opener

If you have a spare garage door opener, buy a spst push button swithc from radio shack. solder 2 wires to bypass the button on the garage door opener, velcro or double sided tape the garage door opener to the back side (under the faring) of either glove box, dirll a small hole above the glove box to mount the switch, and you're in business. PS if you have ever bought strip led lights, the switch normally comes with them.

How about a front tire that's made for a trike and gets 40,000 miles.

Also, some sort of trike adapter that enables a bike jack to lift a trike from the rear with out tipping.
