not sure if this is best forum or section, still trying to figure my way round, so forgive me if i happen to insult some of the more knowledgeable...

Re: 06 c50 tramp:1) how to remove gas tank 2) which lightbar?

Had a '02 Volusia for 9 years.

Take off pillion seat.
Take off strap/main seat.
Disconnect fuel line and 2 little hoses that come off the inverted 'F' connector.
Lift tank and disconnect connector for fuel guage.
Lift tank and pull rearward at the same time.
ps. gas is heavy, make sure the tank is near empty.

I suggest volusiariders.com for all information - great source.

ps. online service manual is available there.

Best,
Mike

'02 is carbed.

Search volusiariders.com for 'gas tank removal' etc.
