Honda CRV axle?

This was brought up today, why not use an axle of a Honda CRV to trike a Goldwing?

Pro/Cons. Anyone know about these axles?

The only thing I can say is that axle is an option I doubt is hugely popular in alot of areas.It is primarily front wheel drive.

I thought it was AWD, but maybe I'm thinking RAV4?

I don't know what they've changed over the years but the 1st gen crv was front drive with what they called realtime all wheel drive as an option.I don't remember if thy called it 4wd or awd but it was an option.I do imagine it would work well if the ratio is right but unless theres a bunch in salvage yards with little demand the price of one might hurt ones pocket.

We have a 2007 and had a 2004 CRV and both of them were AWD. Just my 2 cents.
