Got the pistons ready for the ceramic coating.

Waiting on more port 15 silver for the trans case

One of a kind workmanship!ThumbUp
Those of us that are into VW trikes are impressed with the creativity & cutting edge technology you are putting into your ride. Don't slow down now, the end is within sight!
I wonder, is there a reason you chose swing over irs?

I personally love the "N~th" degree to where you have taken this project, D.B.S.S.ThumbUp
The extra planning & engineering you have undertaken in fabricating your trike is really beyond description.
It is truly art work, and should be recognized as such by anyone looking at it!ThumbUp:)
I only wish I had the technical skill to pull off such a project tooThumbUp.
Keep up the good work, & know that there are many folks beside me that are following this project with anticipation in seeing you finish it to your satisfactionThumbUp

All of this is on top of, or in addition too everything else that I have done with it before.
I originally built this before digital cameras were mainstream. So very little picture documentation back then. Getting it all together and working the first time was probably more involved than this time around. A lot of the details I am picturing here are old news. Such as the internal mods to the trans.
The big new changes are the shocker front end instead of hydraulic and the fuel injection.
I am re-making some parts just for cosmetic reasons. I am really trying to make it pretty this time.

It has been in a bike show before.
With only 4 bikes in the class.
Did not even place.
Maybe with some shiney bits it will have a chance of placing.

Well back from vacation and back at work.
Now to pick up where I left off on the scooter.
Engine balancer is still not done.
Working on incomplete bits of what is currently together. Have ben sorting wiring bits and making plans there. Gotta come up with a place for fuses and relays.

No big news.

Very little time to work with the scooter.

I have been finishing up small details that eat up time but dont make an interesting picture.

I had to put a parallel links on the other fender stay. Have a heavy brake and fender stay on one side with a parallel link. Thought it would be enough but the fender still wiggled. So the other side got one too. Had to pull the fork leg and machine in the mounting point.

So there it is on the pistola side with the heavier bullet stay.

Here it is weighted and on the scales.

Yes I weighed it before I took it apart.

So the ride hieght and rocker angle is set.

Now to remove the link and weld it out.
