Get 2nd Trike

Tires are still looking good on the can-am. I have just less than 10K on the Tri-Glide and the front is looking like it needs to be watched pretty closely.

When I traded the TrIGLide I had 14000 and was getting close to replace..

I found tire pressure on the spyder to be critical to longer life too..

Spyder Ride?

Bob, how does the Spyder ride and handle compared to the Freewheeler?

I have never ridden a Freewheeler. They came out in 2015 and I bought a 2014 TriGlide in May last year. The Spyder rides a lot softer than the TriGlide so I'm told by my wife. I have moved it in and out of the garage and ridden around a parking lot a time or two just to get the hang of it in case an emergency warrants me having to ride it. She loves the 'automatic' transmission and power assist on the steering. she tried to ride the TriGlide and couldn't handle the clutch lever. It was too stiff for her and the rougher ride of the Harley caused her back problems. Of course, those problems were history once we decided to buy her a ride of her own.I can tell you that she loses 20 years off her age when she gets on it. I know this doesn't answer your question but you can tell we are both very satisfied with our trikes. The comparison I use when people on the street want a comparison is she drives a caddy and I drive a Mack truck.

One day...in the far flung off future...we may get a second trike. But I forsee it being a Stallion for my wife. Don't get me wrong, she loves the looks of the TG, but she has fibro-myalgia, and has an especially hard time with her clutch hand.

:Agree::D

Yep, we have two trikes, 2014 can am for her and 2014 Tri glide for me, but been thinking about trading mine for a Can Am in the future,

I've thought about that also. If we were to get a trailer to facilitate longer rides I would probably trade it on another Spyder. HD doesn't build a trike that is able to pull a trailer per the warrantee.

I pulled a trailer when I had the TriGlide but was out of warranty..I am up to 7200 miles of smooth riding now on the Spyder.:D

I still get a kick out of people in there cars taking pictures when I am out and about driving..:laugh:
