Prayers sent from East TN....

Shirley and I would like to express our thanks for all the prayers. They really do help.
We would also like to give a special thanks to those who contributed to the fund to help bring James home. We would have had to take out a loan otherwise and neither of us are in the right frame of mind to be dealing with the bank right now.
It’s bad enough to lose a child, but this has been especially difficult do to the fact he is in China and they were in no hurry to send him home or tell us what happened, and there was nothing we could do about it.
We now know it was a heart attack and they are finally putting him on a plane Friday, He will be home Saturday so we will be able to put him to rest and start trying to get ourselves back to some sort of normalcy.
Thank you again for the help. Both spiritually and financially. I can’t begin to tell you how much it means to us.

I know this is a busy time for you ... but I for one am looking for closure for you and to see God's work to fulfillment ... when you get a chance I'd appreciate an update that he made it home safe and you and yours are doing well. Again ..

in my prayers.

Thanks Fuzzy.
He was supposed to be home Saturday morning but got held up in Chicago. Something about insufficent packaging  One would think if he made it all the way from China to Chicago, he could make it from Chicago to Atlanta.
Anyway, He made it to Atlanta Saturday evening.

Family and friends kept at us about when we were going to have the services and funeral before we even knew when he would be home so we had the Pastor come to our home and held a celebration of life for him 2 weeks ago just to get people off our backs.

The Pastor has offerd do a private service for him, us, his grandmother, sisters and brothers this Saturday and we have accepted.

As for us doing well, It's going to take some time but we're working on it. We are still hurting from the murder of our 20 year old grandson just over a year ago and the sudden death of my nephew, who was like a son, shortly before that. Not to mention Shirleys father and 2 of my brothers in law thrown in the mix during the same time frame.

Our faith is really being put to the test so please keep the prayers coming, especilly for Shirley. I'm really worried about her.

Sorry for rambling, but if there is someone you love, go make sure they know it right now.

I heard this a long time ago ... It's always helped me in time of trouble ... "Peace doesn't come from finding a lake with no storms .... It comes from having Jesus in the boat with you."

You are in my prayers
