If your having parts or tools shipped to ya, there is a couple that I have used lately that I will NOT order from again!

First is California Import Parts: http://www2.cip1.com/default.asp Just got off the phone with these people as I had ordered a torque multiplier on Sunday. Now its the end of Tuesday and they don't even have it processed yet? They figure it will not get shipped until some time Thursday? Really? 4 frigging days to process one order? I was pretty much in need of that by this weekend but obviously that isn't going to happen.:xzqxz:

The other one is Kustom 1 Warehouse: http://www.kustom1warehouse.net/ I purchased a Cam from them a few weeks ago. There again, it took this outfit 8 working days before they even shipped!!!! Now I know that places are busy and all but are you serious? It was a single camshaft and lifter set. It wasn't like I had placed and order for 30 items.

I am going to tell you what; The most awesome company I have dealt with in the last year or so has been Car Craft! http://carcraftstore.com/ Amazing place to work with! One of the main sales people is Ron, who after talking to on the phone, is a great fella. Easy going, understanding, and this place usually ships the SAME DAY!!! Their prices are pretty dang good too. They might be a touch more on some things, but having it shipped the same day makes the little extra bucks worth, in my opinion.

Sorry for the long post but I wanted to give some fellow VDub trike owners a heads up on some recent experiences I have had with places, prices, and shipping times.

Yeah it seems like a lot of the super discount places are slow. Deal Parts is slow to process like above. But have good prices like above.
Aircoolednet and Claude ' s buggies do good.
I have never even got an answer on the phone or email from The Dub Shop, but many folks swear by them being so good. I gave up trying to do business with them and made my own parts.
I have had better luck with..... hold on......
Ebay purchases.

Yep, and after dealing with a few I have found that Car Craft is one of the best! Almost always ship same day unless ya make a late order. They also offer USPS Priority flat rate shipping!!!

Of course a large order will go via UPS.

Yet another example of how awesome Car Craft and Ron are:
I ordered this merged header:
http://carcraftstore.com/mergeexhaustsystem.aspx

As you can probably notice, the description makes statement that it will not work with the filter attached to the oil pump. This was just included in the description this morning. The reason is, I found it out the hard way. I went to install the exhaust system last night after work and low and behold I found it out. After bringing this to the attention of Ron, he included the statement. Now, not only that, but he gave me a 50% discount on a remote filter pump system and hose!!! And to top that off, he shipped it to me for FREE! 2nd day USPS Priority actually.

Just none better to deal with that I have found!

Roy at Mofoco is sort of a love and hate kinda guy.
Ya call and talk to him he is gruff and seems to be disagreeable. I spose it comes from being up there in yankyville, I dunno. Just a personality clash with me here down south.
But even after saying all that..... He has gone out of his way to help me (and others) very much like stingers dealing with car craft. He has flat given me parts before, nothing expensive and I have bought from him before.*

Actually, years ago when I owned a VDub shop I used to buy from MoFoCo quite often. Always had good service from them. Haven't used them in years and actually forgot about them until you just mentioned them. :p
