Last nites BBQ got delayed due to 2 good storms as a cold front came in. Had shrimp on schewers, sweet potato salad, and fresh string beans. Was worth the wate. Outdoor 10x10 screen room kept us dry, followed by a long domino game. Good weekend with good friends. Triking home and back to reality to do it all again next weekend. Tough life !

I slept nearly 16 hours between yesterday and last night. I woke up at around 4am to go potty, and never got back to sleep after. Stared at the ceiling for nearly 4 hours. That was payback for staying up all day on Memorial Day.

Another slow Friday night here on the forum. The only other active poster that I've seen is DblTrbl, and he works night shift like I do.

Maybe I need to bath more so people will want to come around me.

Yup. Took yesterday off because the youngest had a checkup apt at Cincinnati Childrens' Hospital. It's quite a trip. All was well.

That's what I'll be doing soon all the time when on shift. I will be working in the trucks, so I'll use my phone as a hotspot for my ipad. That way I won't have to worry about my clumsy thumbs with my phone.

Caged into werk tonight. It rained on and off all day long, and it's supposed to do that through Monday. Not even an iota as bad as what Zook has experienced down in Texas though.

I saw he hasn't posted anything on the forum since 5/31 so I emailed him to see if everything is alright. He probably won't have the time to answer, but I offered to start a thread letting everybody know his status if he wanted me to. Time will tell. I told him a lot of times on forums, no news in not necessarily good news.

We're still getting a lot of rain but the good thing about it is it's intermittent and not steady. This afternoon,we got about an inch of rain in about thirty minutes. Then it quit and we have had very little more,since. Lots of flooding around our area,though.

Even an inch of rain in a half hour is a whole lot. That puts perspective on just how much rain you guys have been getting if you're referring to it as 'not that much', in my mind.
