I've been wondering the same thing. I really like those little teardrop campers, hope someone chimes in on this thread that has one.

My brother pulls a mood.Its a little wide and heavy for my liking. He gets a long real well pulling it.At 60" wide its he can't see behind it, but can see the lane beside it.

Hate to say it but pulling any trailer that you can't see behind is an accident waiting to happen. And that applies to any vehicles being driven. Over loaded / weight also applies.
Be safe people, why risk yourself and others on the road.

I'll second the idea of anyone pulling a trailer that they can't see behind is an accident waiting to happen. With that being said, I'm sure someone out there has made an attachment like trailer mirror on a vehicle that extends out if you really want to pull a trailer like you are asking about.

I agree to a point.Many trucks on the road can not see behind the trailer they are pulling.They can only see the lane on either side of them. I just read where some bike riders are using back up cameras to see what is behind them. This sounds like a good idea to me. I looked on eBay and the monitor and camera can be had at a reasonable price,around $50. That seems like a cheap safety item to me.

When I say he can not see behind him ,I am referring to the lane he is riding in.He can see what is behind him in the lanes on either side of him,so he can see to change lanes when he needs to do so. I don't think anything about it when I am pulling the travel trailer behind my truck.I can't see behind it either,only what's behind me in the the lane on either side of me.O the bike I got use to seeing over the top of the trailer,so I can see what is behind me as well as not having a trailer hooked to the bike.

I tow a pop up style. No sight problem there, but the teardrop is higher and heaver. I like the style, but must consider what you are pulling it with. I do not beleive I would use my Fatboy w/DFT kit. I must be mindful of the load in my camper(trailmaster).
