Tire Question

OK.....I realize this is not a critical issue with any of us but I am curious about something...... Motor Trike ships their kits with raised white letter/Goodrich TA Radials. I have seen some tikes with raised white letter out but the majority seem to be black wall out. Just wondering what most of you think and why? As a new triker, I am getting hooked on this forum. Thanks in advance for your response.

I keep mine in because I am not a big fan of washing them and the white goes with nothing on the trike.

Yup, just a taste thang... I mounted mine with the white letters out. Nothing like the smell of Westley's bleach-white in the morning!

My tire size is 205X 55X 16 I could not find White Raised Letter anyplace . Where do You get them ROAD Dog? I am only worried about who will mount them once I get them. My tires have about 40,000 on them. (see pictures)<br />
Do they look like they are shot? also Raod Dog what is the cost of these tires any $$$ est.

John you origanly said 255/55 /16 which he could not get , & the 205/55/16 are not available in white letter in any name brand , he said he might be able to get some no name tires in white letter, new tires are like new shoes they FEEL GREAT, I will call him back & see what brand he can get in the 205, I can mount & spin balance them if theres some brand you like ??

Sorry about the mix up. The wife's car takes the 255 's . I know I looked for the 205 before and could not find them . I would be willing to go a little wider or narrower if that made a difference .

John we could not find any white letter tire in 205 55 16 the closest was a 215 60 16 yokohoma ecolander but that is about 1.3" taller than your 205 I do not no if you have the room & how much it would change your gear ratio? They have 205 55 16 in BF GOODRICH RADIAL TA they are raised black letter you can get white letter paint that last a long ,Harley was selling it in a small bottle in white ,yellow & maybe red. I tried

Road Dog you got me all excited . I have been looking. If I went the white paint route I could do it on the tires I have on now.
