Just finished installing an E-Z Brake extended brake lever on my Freewheeler. Ordered on Monday and had it today. It would have been an easy install except for removing the clevis pin that connects the brake lever and the master cylinder plunger arm. What a pain in the butt. Without removing the exhaust pipe it is very hard to get the cotter pin out and then remove the clevis pin. I ended up dropping the floorboard and unbolting the master cylinder from the frame so I could get some wiggle room to work the clevis pin out past the exhaust pipe but I was able to finally get it out, change the brake lever out and fight the clevis pin and cotter pin back in. Without unbolting the master cylinder from the frame I don't think I would have been able to get the clevis pin past the exhaust pipe. Took over an hour but I got it done. Would have been a 15 minute job if the exhaust pipe wasn't in the way. Much better position with the brake pedal moved forward and down.

No issues ... I did remove the floorboard and rear master as stated by the OP ... just to get the wiggle room.

Yes it's made by EZ Brake, moves brake up a little, but, more importantly, the angle allows for smooth sliding of your foot onto it. Much more natural foot position.

Didn't mean to hijack .. the EZ Brake is the same concept, just thought I'd show it on a tri to.

Man ... I must be out of it ... was just checking this thread and saw Dirtdobber's response (oct 15) and got all excited he was "back" ... I do miss him.

Now back to our regularly scheduled program.
